The part where he can't move, walk, jump while having a seizure is normal. Please be careful about putting him on the furniture though (if he's having a seizure) unless you're right there with him the entire time. He can't control his body while this is all going on so it would be very easy for him to fall off and hurt himself. If he's "walking funny", unable (or unwilling) to jump on the couch at all and he's NOT having a seizure (and this has been going on for a while), then you should make an appointment with your vet to have him looked at as soon as you can because something else may be going on that you don't know about (like a torn tendon, for instance).

So sorry to hear your little one is having seizures. My Gretchen is 9 years old and has been having them since she was 15 months old. It's difficult to watch them go through something like this but believe me when I tell you this: these sweet little angels may be tiny, delicate-looking little creatures but they're much braver, stronger and more resilient than they look . . . much braver, stronger and more resilient than WE are, that's for sure!

Love to you and your sweet baby!
